Yacko signed her first record contract when she was 16 years old. She and her group Pumpkin Crew joined a compilation called Pesta Rap 2 (1996) with a single called Nongkrong. Then, after finishing her degree, Yacko’s 1st solo hiphop album entitled Refleksi (EMI Music Indonesia) was released in 2005. The album was produced by Sydney’s DJ and musician DJ Edo under the record label of Arqetech Studios. It featured 13 fresh tracks. The album also featured one song produced by Sydney’s producer-musician Michael Iveson. With jaw dropping emcees from Doyz Da Noyz, Audrey, Drusteelo and Jiggytime (R.I.P) from SOUL ID, Refleksi was as fresh, fun, witty and explosive as hiphop music gets. Finally, after spending some time in the studio, Yacko’s most anticipated 2nd album Mendua is OUT NOW!!!

Im livin a double life. Hectic & Busy 24/7. A lecturer by weekdays and a musician by nite or weekend. Im into body arts. But I am not making a fashion statement, neither am I trying to be trendy. My tattoos and piercings make me who I am. Each of them reflected the objectives i have reached in ma life, and I luv my life coz it’s all about expression. if i’m happy i smile or even laugh! if i’m not interested i dont pay attention! i dont care wat people think bout me. non mi importa niente di tutto cio. im just tryin to be true. be realistic and pretty much keepin it real. wat u see is wat u get. i speak my mind through music. to recognize the happiness and the pain in me i always have to hear some sounds.
