Bio
From a calm soothing summer breeze....to a violent raging thunderstorm. And your lost in the middle, seeing,feeling everything from within. This is our music. This is Redqueen.
Formed in 2004 by members of Kurasakuasa and Menyadik Kimia’s End and Jay. They both shared a passion for Nine Inch Nails aggressiveness, Tool eccentricity, A Perfect Circle virtuosity and combined all those elements to create an aggressive yet full on life music. Joined by a young drummer by the name of Dawoos who cites the legendary Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails as his hero. They continued writing songs about love, death, hatred, jealousy, murder, compassion although not having a permanent singer at that time. They were soon joined by End’s highschool friend, the awesomely named Shaun Michaels, an Omar Rodriguez and John Frusciante afficionado. Plus some weird pop shit he listen to, He added ATDI,RHCP,VERVE-esque music to Red Queen. In December, red Queen were a complete band as they finally found their singer in Sufyan. The ex shock rock throatmaster from the now shock-rock group Mayze joined the group add more variety in Red Queen’s music. With incredible vocal range he quickly adapted to his new family signalling the birth of Red Queen. An extra help for Red Queen came in the form of Anwar Zulkifli, the bands long time friend. A talented flutist, guitarist and musical director, Anwar added creativity to Red Queen, adding flute, music direction and also a dose of old-school rock in the likes of Jethro Tull, Queen and Return To Forever. Thus the puzzle is completed. Red Queen are ready to launch the assault on the music industry alongside with other bands from Sarawak and Malaysia.....
