We are a band. 4 members in all. We play Malay songs. We create our own songs. We play our own songs. Our concept? It’s hard to categorize, since we draw influences from all across the board. Rock, Soul, Jazz, Alternative, Ballads, Progressive, Contemporary, etc... So, it’s easier to say that we’ve a Fusion-type of concept, but for ease, we just say that what we’re playing is Rock. We’ve recorded, mixed and mastered our songs too (courtesy of Nuradee Bros.). Not to mention the covers we’ve done.
So what does NV stands for? NV. eNVy. envy: A feeling of discontent and/or resentment aroused by and in conjunction with desire for the possessions or qualities of another.
Though it may be negative, it can be productive, as it is able to provide motivation and drive to pursue something that one wants.
Currently we’re looking for gigs to play at, especially over the border, seberang tambak, at Malaysia. So anyone who has any gigs to recommend, or invite us to, please feel free to contact us at nv.gila@gmail.com
