Frequency Cannon (FCannon) is a 4-piece pop/rock band known for their highly entertaining live shows, memorable melodies and energetic sets.

The guys who form Frequency Cannon are like their name implies, loose cannons on stage. Their shows can only be described as electrifying and high octane. The bands motto is to have fun and to see everyone else doing the same. You can’t expect anything less from a band, which represents high sonic energy. The band can be quite pugnacious within itself but that does not get in the way of their love and dedication for music. In the music they play, the band is versatile and has a unique identity.

Crowned Grand Champions for ASTRO HITZ.TV’s BLASTOFF Competition in 2005, Frequency Cannon’s career took off a step further by becoming a part of Malaysia’s biggest annual rock music festival: Rock the World. The band recorded their first demo in Kua Chee’s (vocalist) bedroom in the year 2000 and started hitting the studios around February and March 2004 to record a DIY EP. In 2006, Frequency Cannon had 2 songs featured in the movie ‘Gol & Gincu’. Frequency Cannon released their self titled debut album on January 2008. The debut album includes their hit singles "GIRL", "Fame & Glory", "Free Falling" & "50 Tahun".

Frequency Cannon is currently Kua Chee (vocals), Azril Dino (drums), Azrul (bass) and Yuri (guitar).

Backed by years of live performance experiences, their skills on-stage speak for themselves. Frequency Cannon plays music that comes from the heart; music that makes you want to jump and shout and have fun with your friends.

 The Members

Kua Chee : Dentist by profession. Plays an unmentionable number of instruments and makes occasional odd noises.

Azril Dino : One of three talented drumming brothers. On stage, head bangs more than all the other members combined. Loves horror movies.

Azrul : Oldest and wisest member in the band, nicknamed after a cute blue Japanese cat with no ears.

Yuri : Constantly looking for new guitar gear and searching for the sound in his head. Doesn’t want to admit it, but has turned yuppie.
