So you've heard about it.
We'll be launching our full length album on the 31st July 2009!!!
Do check out the preview of our single "Dreamer".
Oh and before I forget,

The Fire Fight, [5+4=1]: Hey all,

going on about what the topic says.
The Fire Fight is now down to a 4 piece band,
as keyboardist Chris takes his leave to concentrate on his photography
and work commitments.
Though a member may has left, the friendship still goes on
and we the remaining members wish Chris all the best in his
adventures and photography.

The Fire Fight, [School Invasion Tour]: We'll be performing at Raffles Junior College next together with West Grand Boulevard on the 30th of April. Can't wait for that. !!!
If you're from RJC and reading this, holla back on that day !! See you guys !!!, [We remember you]: I remember you dancing in the bright lights.

Weekend Trip this March will be another great memory to imprint into our history.

1) Its not about the sound, even though Arthur the engineer did a smashingly splendid job to give us a balanced sound for all to enjoy..

2) Its not about the lights, even though it was a gorgeous light display of moods that caught our emotions..

3) Its not about the music, even though YAWA, LEESON and WITHERED TREE are brilliant and respectable in their own right.. preference does not equate to talent.

4) Its not about the heat, even though we were all sweaty! haha... oh my especially poor jamie (Leeson’s lead vox)... the dude has suffered so we get to enjoy Leeson’s great performance.

5) Its not even about the vibe, even though hell yeah it was immensely enjoyable! Your moves and grooves... your smiles and shouts... our crazy "I-dont-give-a-damn" stage antics.

It is all about the friendship. The memory that carries on to the present. Perhaps in our exuberant expression, many have overlooked this time after time. But truthfully, all these wouldn’t have mattered if it weren’t for the connections we have made with each other. Our friends that we came along and had fun with, the band whom we rocked out with, the music that touched our hearts, the meaningful moments that we shared (birthdays and departures, grieviences and relief).. all these happened that very night. its these little things that brought us together.

For all are one people beloved.

Think about that.

Much love,
Josh
The Fire Fight, [A Fire Fight Christmas @ The Esplanade]: We wish you a merry merry christmas, with surprises and many many more surprises.
Together with dear friends, Jon Chan (Plain Sunset) and Jean Low (Giants Must Fall).]" varStatus="status" > -->

If united, together, we can build the biggest indie music community in the world and get the due respect we deserve. We also intend to assist indie acts to cross-over into Europe and USA with regards to promotion, digital media platforms, mobile media, marketing, PR and concerts. We hope to work with the media in each country to try and support the awards and provide create more awareness to the public. Please let us know who are the best radio stations, newspapers, TV stations, websites that we could write to, to help promote you and also the awards. Here are the criteria and categories for AVIMA 2009: a) 75% of band members must be of asian origin or born in Asia. If 75% of the band members have also resided for more than 2 years in an Asian country, then they are also eligible. In some instances, if the founder of the band is Asian, and the other members are not Asian, but reside in an Asian country, they are eligible too.The only exception is for the best college act category, where an act of any nationality may submit as long as they are from an Asian college/university b) Songs submitted must have been released between December 1st 2007 and December 31st 2008. c) Indie acts may submit unreleased songs for the awards. Bio

Life isn’t a fairytale,
But it sure is beautiful

In the heart of South East Asia, the lives of five young gentlemen unfold as they venture beyond lights of their pragmatic reality. With music as the enchanting doorway to the heartstrings of other individuals, The Fire Fight set their sails for an amazing adventure. Carrying their own unique spin of indie rock, The Fire Fight brings forth an exuberant energy of freedom and life. Take the chance, disappear into the blinding lights, and fall back into the Sun. This is where it all begins, where the elements collide, when you burst into life.

The Fire Fight emanated from independent songwriter Joshua Tan (Vox/Guitars). Harmonising his impassioned melodies with the modest innovative tunes of Jonathan Leong (Guitars) and the dynamic-compelling rhythm of Iain Tham (Drums) and JBarks (Bass), The Fire Fight has conceived a truly pristine experience for the music of today. Identifying inspirations from the diverse likes of The Promise Ring, Maritime, The Velvet Teen, Death Cab for Cutie, Jamiroquai and more, The Fire Fight resonates an 80s "raw" indie mood with hints of modern expression.

A life extraordinaire. The Fire Fight embraces to live what they sing for. This is the fight of existence, the fight of love and the fight of belief. Dance and shout out; for tomorrow we’ll start a fight.
