BLUNT CONCEPT

With mixed influences from Classic Rock, Rap Metal, Power Metal, NU Metal, Melodic Metalcore, Old School Punk, BLUNT CONCEPT was formed August 11, 2007 with members Luciano Ayque (Bass/Vocals), Allister Ayque (Guitar) and Luis Bichara (Drums).

The band was able to record a 5-track EP called "Half Baked and 7FM B.C. (EP)" , then after,... was able to complete a 12-track album called "Ungreed and Infinity".

After finishing their album "Ungreed and Infinity" last 2008, drummer Luis Bichara decided to separate from the band and was replaced by NJ Asetre (drummer of punk band HUFU). The band also acquired Ross Perez to play Bass and Chris Liwag (Lead Guitars of post-hardcore band ECHOSLAP) to add more variation to the music style.

Right now the new Blunt Concept will gonna be busy creating new and much more heavy tracks for their next project.

The music of BLUNT CONCEPT are representations of poetry, individuality, courage over adversity, love and self respect. The band relates social inequality and real life drama to heavy angry music; expressin' life struggles against the greedy, fake, vain hypocrites; screamin F*** YOU!! to all the corrupt and judgmental characters of our society.
