Bio

Tai Tai Alibi are four friends who grew up in Hong Kong; Tim Hills(vocals/guitar), Chris Collins (lead guitar/backing vocals) and Matt Cartwright (drums) started the band in October 2007. Old school friend Rafe D’Aquino took up bass duties at the beginning of this year.

Tai Tai Alibi have consistently-impressed local audiences with their moody/catchy songs,  remarkable musicianship and professional attitude. They have played many highly publicised gigs -such as The Underground, HK Live, Listen Up, Global Battle of the Bands, BC Unplugged, Mark-1 band showcase- and venues such as HITEC, the Fringe Club, the Cavern, Club Cixi and the Wanch.

Most recently, Tai Tai Alibi opened for the Manic Street Preachers in front of almost 2000 people at HITEC, Kowloon Bay. They a have also recorded an EP and plan a full length album release later this year.
