Bio
Freaky Z is made up of F, A, Z; coming from his name Fazli. Freaky Z also symbolizes his funny-man antics and his brand of happy-go-lucky, comedy rap.

Rapper/producer Freaky Z gained popularity returning from Kansas City after winning a ticket to see Eminem there in a local contest. With the new inspiration and energy from meeting his idol, he was determined to carve out an original concept for his own performances and music. And thats exactly what he did.

He uses personal experiences, and mocks people from his real life encounters through humorous songs like Poppas Got A New Wife about his fathers bigamous ways, and Same Woman Again telling the story about falling for the wrong girl.

Funny by nature, Freaky Z combines situational comedy with Hiphop music. This results in an original soundscape of bass-heavy funk rhythms, and minor chord progressions typical of Latin and Malay music alike, hitting the right notes with all audiences, and not just Hiphop fans.

He produces under the moniker, The F Word, and has been an undeniable factor in the beat-making circle, helping the very popular to the novice with his custom-made beats, always tinged with the Freaky Z signature.

In mid 2007, Freaky Z launched his own hip-hop collective movement, 65 & Hope, dedicating in promoting independent hip-hop artiste in the local circuit. Since its beginning, 65 & Hope has launched albums, done numerous events and set up a website for music lovers to get information about the scene.

Freaky Z is also no stranger to hosting events, as he is a very versatile performer/entertainer. He is currently the producer and host of the hip-hop monthly show, Floetry, which is being held at Earshot Cafe, The Arts House. He has also been a regular performer in numerous events from major ones like Chingay, Countdown Party, Mosaic Festival to smaller scale ones like Arab St Party, Family Affair and many more.

On a more serious note, Freaky Z is also a brain tumour patient since 2001. Being diagnosed with a major ailment at such a young and promising age did have its downtime. However, he insists that laughter is the best medicine and thats how his music will be a true remedy for himself and he hopes that for others, as well.
