Officially formed in 2001 by the early name Jakarta Flame with melodic punk concept. The band had several times changing personnels, and in 2004 decided to change the name of the band became Jakarta Flames with the latest line-up : Reza, Niki, Adith, Aji, and Ryan. In every performances, Jakarta Flames was playing their own songs mostly with the new concept: Post Rock / Metal.
In 2004, we joined in a compilation album “The Difference Compilation Vol.1” from Broken Jaws Record featuring our first single “ILUSI". And at mid July 2005 had released a mini album titled “Jakarta Flames EP” from Lucky Records and also released a video clip "A Walk Into The Valley Of Death" taken from the mini album “Jakarta Flames EP”.
