Maylaffayza has finally release her album on January 2008. The pop crossover genre that she represents has been liberating people in a very unique and stylish way, yet full of dynamic spirit. She crosses over cultures and genres. She plays violin and she sings. She is a mixed of east and west, a mix of traditional and modern life. She is water and fire, she is angel and devil. She is powerful yet very tender. All you can hear in her music. The album content is in 2 parts, violin tracks and vocal tracks all in total 10 songs.Her music is daring, aggresive and a break through.

The world’s one and only female pop crossover violinist has been in showbiz for more than 7 years, breaking through all the cultural cliche in Indonesia’s music industry. This avant-garde violinist liberates herself and pushes the boundaries of what is accepted as the norm within definitions of art/culture/reality in the showbiz/ music industry and the world of violinists.
Her stage presence and showmanship have been accepted as an elite appearance which highlighted the exclusivity of every show, yet she attempted to push forward the accepted Indonesia’s musical boundaries by applying the essence of dance music, hip hop, r ’n b, and Indonesian’s hook in which the songs she plays her violin and sings! She created a new genre, hip, glitzy, intense and sexy approach to her music. The music kick ass!
