This song was recorded in the early of Yawning Birds existance. While the vibe of grunge era still around in the year of 2000, Chaiselongue is the one of that genre pioneer in Malaysia. They released limited demo called Happy Trails and contain the original of this song. Well then, time is changing, i still love to hear this nice one. Thanks Chaiselongue for the original song, and Mohd Roshairi Fazrul for the vox part. Enjoy Yawning BIrds version :)

Where do Yawning Birds name came from?
Its a long story morning glory.. One day when they started to get serious about making music, they didn't have a suitable name. The name like Sloppy Lips, Cast Cash Case, etc. crossed in their mind, but they wanted a name that easy to speak, to remember and suit to the indie term. Yawning Birds can be described as a passionate person who just wake up from a long sleep.

THE GENRE Shah Alam’s Yawning Birds four piece independent rawk band might reminds anyone who has ever heard neo post-punk garage bands like Interpol and The Strokes of those exact bands, plus a few more grungy, indie, shoegaze and screamo influences.Well, you will know exactly when you heard us. The truth is, Yawning Birds got their own style of genre if you agree :)

THE HISTORY Before Yawning Birds, Enet was in a grunge band named Litterbugs in Kluang since 1998. Then in Klang, he met Naim, Talib, Yadi & Harun setup a project band called Ground Thirteen in 2003 before disbanded several months later.
THE LINE-UP The roots of the band - as far as its members are considered - can be traced back to a partnership between Enet (a guitarist and 2nd vocalist/bassist) and a fellow Shah Alam Public University (SAPU) art student named Naim (a vocalist and 2nd guitarist). Since 2000, both of them was a grunge head that always stick together in making music and writing article deep inside the local underground colourful scene. Naim struck up a friendship with another SAPU student, Talib, a brilliant newcomer who took up the bass and sometimes guitar for a certain part. And by sheer coincidence, Talib later bumped into Yani, a speed metal drummer he knew from time spent studying art course at SAPU.
