It's a celebration of random energy that I exuberate through lyrics and rhythm. Whichever genre it falls through, its music to me.
Who do you sound like?
Ah, who do you sound like?
Why do you make music?
For the art, the sense of self, for which fuels the body and mind.
For the one thing that keeps me going.
Bio
It is odd to write a bio about yourself, i got a friend to write one with clear instructions not to be biased. Here's the result..
Poetry, rhythm and words have always been innate for Hunny Madu.
Her lyrical explorations are snapshots of the human experience infused in a musical melting pot of neo soul, jazz and hip-hop.
Hunny Madu’s LP, co-produced with her saxophonist, Adil Johan is set for release in mid 2008 amidst performing for numerous events; private functions and venues around Asia.
She envisions music to be organic, honest and true. Through this peripheral vision, Hunny writes in retrospect.
