The Miracle will be performing at "A Tribute To Dream Theater" for 3 hours at Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta (E'X Plaza Indonesia). Come and see The Miracle live playing all Dream Theater songs on Sunday nite, 25 January 2009. The show will start at 7:30pm and will be opened by a rockin performance from Anda (Bunga). Tickets cost IDR75,000 (general admission) & IDR50,000 (for students & i-rock mailing list members).

Bio
All bands start from individual tastes that blend in to form the same kind of music and it is the same with The Miracle. With five personalities merge into one, the music they play proves that five thoughts can create a quality of artistic beauty. All aspects of talents and musical references are wonderfully covered and you will be able to tell different sources of influence once you hear it – pop, rock, progressive, even jazz and funk. Shortly, their music can be summed up as energetic, modern, and majestic.
From the beginning, like any other band formations, they jammed to the tunes of their favorite bands from Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple. In 1998, after one year of doing classic rock repertoires, the band X-Part, which members were Trisakti University students, changed their musical concept to exclusively playing progressive rock songs from bands such as Kansas, Rush, and Yes. In year 2000, the band went into hiatus due to some of the band members had to continue their study abroad.
In July 2001, Faisal (guitarist) and Reza (drummer) came together and formed another band with 3 new recruits, this time they wanted to cover only Dream Theater songs. A Dream Theater song inspired them to name the new project as The Miracle.
Only a few selected shows did interest The Miracle to take part because they prime for full-dedicated and all-out performances, i.e. “Dream Theater Nite” in 2004, 2005, & 2006 at Barbados Café, Kemang, Jakarta. After Chemmy stepped in as a substitute for the deceased singer, the last formation may be the most solid one. The first show with Chemmy at Fame Station in Bandung, 13 April 2007, “The Miracle: a Dream Theater Tribute” came off successfully with over 350 packed the club. Also, the same little success story for them as a headliner in “One Loud Night: i-Rock! 1st Anniversary” at Mario’s Place, Jakarta, 16 August 2007, gathered crowds of over 450.
The producer team at Quadrann grabs these five gentlemen’s collective dream and sets it off into reality and move forward. The result is a demo of 3 songs entitled “Dosa,” “Matahari,” and “Mawarhitam.” The songs may sound heavy, but modern and pop-influenced compositions are there. To combine them may not possibly be an easy task. All instruments and vocals are stationed at the same frontline, not one piece goes beyond the others. Lyrically, commercial pop influence is apparent, as the singer (also songwriter) “promise to be committed for good” to his “Matahari” and hopes that of all “Mawarhitam” to “grow and turn dark of nights into valuable experience of life.”
In December 2007, they plan to release the debut album from The Miracle. Close eyes, open minds, and let the music talk to prove it. The recording and mixing process started in August 2007 where 10 songs will be projected into the album solely played by Chemmy on vocals, Faisal on guitars, Reza on drums, Vedy on bass, and Yessi on keyboards. This is their contribution to Indonesian music scene, and as stated on the lyric to “Matahari,” they will “give their best.”
