Bio

It all started back in the late 2006 when Ephraim and Aaron decided to form a side project band since their band then, Can’t Wait Any Longer started to lay low for some personal reasons. They both came up with the idea of having Jmarc from the band Catheter to be the side band’s lead guitarist. Ending up with the bassist’s position problem left, it suddenly crossed their minds that Toto of Disposable Heroes will be the best choice to fill the spot. By that time, they started to carry “Pointless Forever” as the band’s name up until they considered choosing between “redemption” or “downfall”. Unable to arrive with a single decision came up the current band’s name—Redemption from Downfall.

In a month of covering songs from Senses Fail, Silverstein and Thrice, they decided to start composing their first song which is The Beauty of My Deception which was recorded before the year 2006 ended.

Although it may be hard to solely depict what kind of genre this band is trying to reveal, their emotional/post hardcore pieces usually receive salient applauds among the crowd who obviously enjoyed the performance and this was further proven when the band was able to make it to the Nescafe Soundskool’s semi- finals and Redhorse Muziklaban’s regional.

Different ideas, diverse talents and unlike skills joined together are most likely the band's clandestine of forming an unclassified sound of grief, love, revulsion and compassion utterly mesmerizing the listeners' notice.
Behind the scenes, the band could be spotted in studios further experimenting their improvement for the goal of distinction and progress. Likewise, they are on their way of composing more original songs and covering some of their favourites for their eventual aspiration of recording Redemption from Downfall's debut album.
